I hear you! but then it's all about money. If you’re making music, you should do it with passion. Like you said snoop has got "His mind on his money & his money on his mind" so for instance he may be just jumping on this because it's popular at the moment and from this will come more money.
I think people are upset because once a type of music becomes too commercial, it gets watered down. Dub Step is all about the underground…Dirty Kicks and Bass. They don’t want anyone claiming what they created.
I can see yr point & HONESTLY,if my heart aint in it,IT cant get done. 1 o my Mantras is "Don't force Art", & enuff beatz,i made..(Time Ago)ppl tried 2 "Box em off"..Sayin.."Oh it's a blah beat,etc"..I didn't knw what they were goin on abt...As 2 me,i just CREATED,"Whateva i liked"...U knw...Thts wht i do..when i get DAT VIBE & TIME.......
We r in a Global CC ri nw & "The Takeova",of Musical Genres A la Drum & Bass(Is Dubstep a Hybrid?),Rock n Roll,blah,blah,Fashion & whteva else can "Make quik cash"...Will sadly 4eva be around...PPl will even take yr Culture & sell it bk 2 u..Damn..Im in 2 deep!Lol....
