The Rest of The Neptunes (Double Disc) Mixtape Download
In honor of The Neptunes receiving the #1 “Producers Of The Decade” award from Billboard, GiveTheDrummaSome.com put together this dope compilation of Neptune produced tracks. The idea behind the compilation was to showcase some of the Neptunes tracks that weren’t the smash hits, but still notable and definitely a must to be heard. You may have missed some of these or you may have lost some of these over the decade. The tape is broken down into 2 parts. The ‘00-’04 years and the ‘05-’09 years. A nice compilation and definitely worth the download.

Was suprised they got away with this in the 70's
I actually took this from artoo's blog. But I had to post this up on my page.
Gay Bob is a doll created in 1977. It was billed as the world’s first openly gay doll. Bob was created by former advertising executive Harvey Rosenberg and marketed through his company, Gizmo Development. Gay Bob was bestowed an Esquire magazine “Dubious Achievement Award” for 1978.I thought something like this would have been banned back in the day.
They wasn't so hot on equal rights.
Disney has finally put a black female front and center....can't wait to see this!!!!

Shyne Released from Prison 06.10.2009
The hip-hop world is buzzing today as former Bad Boy artist Shyne (born Jamal Barrow) has reportedly been released from prison today (October 6th).
Per CBS News, a staffer at Riker’s Island’s Woodbourne and Clinton Correctional Facility, where Shyne served his eight-year plus term, confirmed his release. The now 30-year-old rapper was sentenced to 10 years in June 2001 after being found guilty of gun possession, assault and reckless endangerment stemming from his now-infamous 1999 nightclub shooting that also involved his former boss Sean “Diddy” Combs and his then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez.
Rumor has it that several labels and music executives, including Jay-Z, have shown interest in signing the rapper upon his release. While in prison, Barrow became the subject of a major label bidding war, with Murder Inc. and Death Row allegedly clamoring to sign him. The rapper would eventually sign with Def Jam Records, releasing Godfather Buried Alive in 2004. In March of 2006, Shyne legally changed his name from Jamal Michael Barrow to Moses Michael Leviy, reflecting his conversion to Judaism as well as his Jewish heritage. Many fellow artists have shared in the excitement and anticipation of Shyne’s homecoming, with Fabolous, Wale, and Red Café each leaving messages on their respective Twitters. Even Diddy has expressed his adulation for Shyne. “It's a blessing that he's coming home,” Puff told DJ Absolut last month. “I spoke with him a couple weeks ago. He sounded like he was in good spirits. I know he can't wait to get home. And I know he's definitely gonna heat the whole scene up. He's definitely gonna do it, you know what I'm saying, he definitely was one of the most talented young artists that I had the pleasure to work with so I'm quite sure he's been using his time wisely and I'm quite sure he has some heat.”
Trey Songz-Ready
I always thought that Trey Songz wasn't your typical RnB Crooner, he had a edge about him. I remember when he dropped his 1st mixtape "I was like man he is different"I went on to Youtube to listen to some of his album, why I don't know as RnB isn't really saying much these days. But man, I can't believe that I'm saying this. But I think this has got to be ONE of THE best albums of 2009'....yeah I said. I like all the songs on the album.
He has proper stepped up his game here, you can hear how versatile he is from the ' Black Roses' track.
Damn! I feel like the man is talking about me in every song. : D
But this is definitely one to bump.
(WINTER ALBUM)
Favourite songs:
1. Yo side of the bed- Very Prince.....love, love, love
2.Holla If Ya Need Me
3. Love Lost-Reminds me of 'Human Nature' by Michael Jackson....Very Nice!
4.Be where you are
5. One Love
6. Black Roses
7. Hollaude
Too many too mention!
