I'm looking to treat myself to 500D. I am really into photography and I just know I have an eye for it! It's a bit expensive so it's time to get saving!
Actor Michael Rapaport has been working on a documentary about legendary hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest for years — and now a new trailer offers a tantalizing look at what's in store. The film, Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest , features extensive interviews with members Q-Tip, Phife Dawg, Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Jarobi, and details the quartet's pioneering career during the 1990s, the issues that initially split them up (and flared up again during a recent reunion tour) and Phife's ongoing diabetes-related health problems.
(The group's fractious relations are referenced in an apparently joking title shown at the end of the trailer: Beats, Rhymes & Fights.)

The doc features appearances from Kanye West, Nas, Mos Def, the Roots and many others who testify to the group's resounding influence, which includes humorous lyrics, previously unplumbed jazz samples, a mellow swagger and, as the Roots' ?uestlove puts it, the fact that the group "managed to rewrite the song structure for hip-hop."
Klaxons frontman, lover of all things spiritual and psychedelic and keen spotter of new talent, tries his hand at being a record producer, working with South coast lo-fi outsiders The Cabin Fever.

n 24 November 2010, while students across England staged walkouts in protest to cuts in education funding, a few thousand in London attempted to march on Parliament. Unfortunately, since they destroyed the Tory headquarters two weeks ago, the police weren’t about to let them reach Parliament, so instead they kettled thousands of stoned, angry hippies and excited sixth formers into a small space and let them destroy that instead. The crowd were kept there for over nine hours.
Ok, so as you know my release for my mix tape was supposed to be dropping on the 20.12.2010. But me and my team have decided to push it back till the 16.01.2011 as we dont want to rush such greatness!

This compilation came out back in April this year. I came across it the other day and decided to give it a listen. What can I say, what a lovely mix to chill to on a relaxing evening. I'm sure you will enjoy this as much as I did, it kind of makes you just throw yourself back and just relax-think of nothing but good things. This was BamaLoveSoul.Com first remix compilation, and they did a great job!
I have yet to get the album and I am actually so excited to get it. In the mean time here are the original samples that Kanye has used to create the recent album. This has been put together by FakeShoreDrive .
I would rather listen to the album first before playing this, but hey if you already have the album. Download and enjoy!

I had quite an interesting weekend. I received a text early hours of Saturday morning saying I have two secret V.I.P tickets to go to the DefJam Rapstar game launch-Ok, how strange!
The thing is, the event started at 10:30am in the morning, I repeat 10:30am-Could this possibly be a setup?
Anyway, I decided to go and bring Chaz with me-you know just in case.
Ok, so we got to the venue and they were running behind schedule like always.
It was around 12pm before they opened the doors, as I said I didn't know what to expect.
Got inside now and thought "What the hell" there was about 20 of us in the venue, it was actually quite funny.
Bad promotion or what, well one thing clear is, it was a secret alright as the place was empty.
They offered us the chance to play the game, I was like no no no!
But there was a cute kid who decided to have ago and after that, you couldn't get him off.
The games looks fun if you were to play it with a bunch of people at your house.
We decided to bounce as it was long to stick around and eat crisp all morning!
I brought a pair of Yessica Boots back in 2008 from France, I am now kicking myself as I should have brought two because they are starting to fall apart! They are my favourite pair of boots and I can not find them anywhere, even online :(
I don't want to go over to France again, but it may look like I have to.
I came across this footage on Amede Soundsmith's page and was blown away by it. Nothing much has changed. It almost looks like now but with the lights switched off lol! I love looking at things like this, I wonder what type of camera this would have been shot on. Time to do a little more research. Also check out the other videos. Enjoy!
